2023 Election: Check out the Presidential Candidate who currently has the most states won.

Given that Nigerians are still waiting to see who will succeed Muhammadu Buhari as president when his term expires, it’s worth looking at who is leading in terms of the number of states won in the ongoing presidential election.

This year’s presidential election is widely expected to be won by one of three candidates: Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), or Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Peter Obi, presidential candidate for the Labour Party, is in second place after APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu. So far, Peter Obi has been declared the winner in six states (Nasarawa, Enugu, Plateau, Lagos, Edo, and Anambra) with a total of 3,158,952 votes, as reported by INEC.

At this point in the ongoing presidential election in Nigeria, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) of Rabiu Kwankwaso has only won one state, and that state is Kano State with a total of 1,428,011 votes.
