Woman captured in a viral video has been arrested by the authorities for abusing the human rights of her two-year-old daughter.
The Ugandan woman identified as Nabulim Dorothy was spotted in a video recorded by a neighbor hitting her two-year-old baby with slippers.
In a statement via Twitter, the Criminal Investigation Department confirmed the arrest of the woman for dehumanization.
It wrote, “The @PoliceUg has today arrested Nabulime Dorothy who is seen in the viral clip circulating on social media assaulting her 2 year old daughter. She will be produced in Court on Monday to answer for her actions.”
