Nollywood actress, movie producer and politician Funke Akindele has shown love to her colleague, Laide Bakare.
Drillogist reported that the controversial actress had turned a new age yesterday, October 7th.
In celebration of her day, the deputy governorship candidate for PDP surprised Laide with birthday wishes.
Funke took to her Instagram page to send love to the celebrant.
“Happy birthday to you Laide! Here’s wishing you many more fruitful and healthy years on earth”.
This is coming after the actress blew out over low-turnout from her colleagues.
Laide Bakare threw shade at some of her colleagues who ignored the actress’s birthday.
Ever the queen of shade, Laide Bakare took to her Instagram page to subtly drag them.
She stated that she isn’t created to please others, and as such, she would be happy, live happily and focus on pleasing herself.
Laide added that if others don’t like it, she will let them be, as happiness is a choice.
The controversial actress revealed that the moment she learnt to be happy in doing her things, the day she felt accomplished.
Laide reemphasised that pleasing everyone will never be her responsibility, and if they don’t like her, it isn’t her problem.
“You’re not created to please others, live to be happy and focus on pleasing yourself. Be happy, be yourself. If others don’t like it, let them be. Happiness is a choice. The moment I learnt to be happy in doing my things. I felt accomplished. Pleasing everyone is never my responsibility, if they like you fine and if they don’t, that’s their problem not yours. While some posted the actress on their Instagram pages, others took to her comment section to drop their birthday wishes.
Kemi Filani news noticed, that at the time of reporting, only few of her colleagues had acknowledged her birthday.
