The wife of comedian Ayo Makun, Mabel Makun has blown hot over the trending video of late reality star, Rico Swavey.
Drillogist reported that an heartbreaking video of Rico Swavey during his last hours had made its way to the internet.
Reacting to it, Mabel stated that the foolishness of some individuals in Nigeria is appalling.
She questioned how health attendants could be more concerned about recording him than saving his life.
“The foolishness of some individuals in Nigeria is appalling. How do you even remember your phone camera in a life and death situation? Bloggers are worse off must you all repost everything???”.
Uproar as health attendants neglect Rivo Swavey
Nigerians expressed anger over an heartbreaking video of Big Brother Naija Season 3 reality star, Rico Swavey been neglected by healthcare attendants.
In a video which circulated online, Rico Swavey, who was indisposed, was seen sitting on a chair while receiving oxygen as the nurses contemplated on how to move him into Intensive Care Unit.
In the video, one of them, who wasn’t pleased with the actions of her co-workers recording him, while he was battling for his life, had chided them.
She noted how he was in critical condition, yet they were more concerned about making videos.
One of them could be heard saying, “Oya, make we carry am now go inside”. Her statement made another nurse chuckle.
Another nurse who wasn’t pleased with their behavior, said, “His oxygen is 90%. You people should stop making video and let’s move him. Somebody is in critical condition and you’re making videos”.
The video had elicited anger from netizens as they dragged the healthcare attendants for being lackadaisical.
Many stated that the reality star, would had survived the fatal accident, if they had handled the situation with utmost professionalism.
Rico Swavey dies following fatal accident
Rico Swavey had died following a fatal accident on Tuesday, October 11.
His co-reality star, Alex Unusual, had announced the news of his accident.
She stated that the doctors were trying to resuscitate Rico Swavey and called for prayers.
Alex, however, did not state where the accident occurred or how it happened.
Unfortunately, the reality star couldn’t survive it, as he kicked the bucket.
His co-star, Tobi Bakre announced his demise on Thursday morning, October 13th.
Many Big Brother Naija reality stars and celebrities from different entertainment industry mourned his untimely death.
