Deleting of Deborah Samuel tweet: Express your anger at 2023 polls – Atiku to Nigerians

Daniel Bwala, the spokesman of Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign has told Nigerians to express their feelings over the former Vice president’s deleting of the tweet he posted to condemn the cruel murder of a Christian girl, Deborah Samuel.

Bwala, a Special Adviser to the Deputy Senate President on Legal and Constitutional Matters at the National Assembly of Nigeria, said this when he appeared on Arise Television’s The Morning Show.

Atiku had posted a tweet hours after Deborah Samuel was killed for alleged blasphemy in her school. But he later deleted the tweet.

Atiku has started his campaigns and Nigerians are wondering what will become of Nigeria if he becomes the next President of the country.

To add to the controversy, DRILOGIST reports that Atiku on Saturday, during an interactive session with the Arewa Joint Committee held in Kaduna State, claimed that Northerners do not need Igbo or Yoruba candidates in the forthcoming election.

Asked why the former Vice president deleted his tweet, Bwala said, “If Nigerians are not satisfied [with Atiku’s explanations on why he deleted his tweet on the killing of Deborah Samuel] they will express that at the polls.”
