Former Arsenal man, Ian Wright also believes Chelsea are very disorganised heading into their Premier League clash with Arsenal this weekend.
The former Premier League star is of the opinion that Chelsea’s narrow wins since Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel as manager was papered over the cracks.
“The thing is with it, the way they played it was so disorganised,” Wright said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show.
“I know they’ve lost one in 10 but the way they played the other day, it’s not good form.”
He went further to explain that if Graham Potter fails to make the Blues midfield more solid and get something going in there, the west Londoners may suffer more heavy defeats.
According to him, Potter is not fielding his proper full-backs but is opting Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as wing-backs instead and Wright believes “it’s going to happen again [a heavy defeat], I think it might be papering over cracks, the games up to this point.”
Chelsea met their highest defeat of the season and their first ever under Graham Potter when they were hammered 4-1 by Brighton last Saturday.
