After Portugal’s victory over Switzerland to advance to the Qatar finals Bruno Fernandes was asked about how Cristiano Ronaldo felt after being left on the bench, according to him no player is happy to be in the bench and Cristiano won’t be happy too.
Bruno Fernandes added that if he was the one he won’t be happy if the manager decides to drop him on a bench in the next game that he won’t be happy, he was trying to be fair here and not been a hypocrite. He won’t be happy if the manager puts him in bench in the next game like he did to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fernandes said. “I don’t think Cristiano would be happy to be on bench. If the manager put me on the bench in the next game, I would be angry.”
