Ozioma, wife of late gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, couldn’t hold back her tears as he was laid to rest on Thursday.
Kemi Filani had reported that Sammie Okposo died on Friday, November 25, at the age of 51.
A tribute night was held for him on Tuesday, December 13 in Lagos State, followed by a service of songs on Wednesday.
On Thursday, December 15th, the singer was finally laid to rest in an emotional scenario.
His widow broke down in tears while trying to pour sand into his grave at his funeral. Her family members rallied around her, giving her the moral support she needed.

Also, Popular gospel artiste, Nikki Laoye had penned some emotional words to Sammie Okposo as he was laid to rest.
Mourning him as he was being laid to rest, Nikki Laoye shared a video from the moment and wrote,
“Oh God! My Big Brother,Bros eee 😭😭 . seeing you in that casket,watching you being lowered into the ground was super heart breaking for me. The last thing I ever imagined to happen this year.
I finally freaked out as they started covering you up with sand and cement and the tears wouldn’t stop…kept calling you, kept thanking you…
