A victim of the train attack that took place along Kaduna-Abuja earlier last year has thrown more light on the unfortunate incident, where she explained why she was asked for a hand in marriage by one of the superiors who was regarded as the terrorist commander.
Lois Azurfa, a 21-year-old undergraduate who spent more than 6 months in the hands of her abductors noted that the leader of the group had met with her stating his reason for preferring to marry her.
The freed victim who stressed that she declined such an offer revealed that the commander noted that she was the only youngest one in their camp, and that she was also a christian.
Azurfa who made such revelation that he wanted to marry her because of her age and her religion further added that he said he would prefer to keep her in the camp, even as she emphasized that she barely knew them and were being abducted.
She said… “He approached me, that he is one of of their superiors, their commander, so he approached me because I was the youngest there and then I’m actually a Christian”
