EPL: Arteta’s new signing, Jakub Kiwior breaks three records without playing for Arsenal

Arsenal’s new signing Jakub Kiwior has already broken three records without killing the ball for his new club side.

The Poland international broke the records in his first training sessions with Mikel Arteta’s Premier League leaders.

Arsenal completed the signing of the defender in the January transfer window, bringing him in from Spezia in a deal worth £20 million.

The Gunners were in search of a backup for William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in the back.

London World reports that Kiwior has made an immediate impact in his debut training sessions with Mikel Arteta’s side as he has broken several records in the fitness tests.

According to reports, the Pole has set new records for the fastest short sprint, highest agility jump and standing spring record.

Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Mikel Arteta described Kiwior as a ‘young talent with incredible potential.
