John Obi Mikel, a former Chelsea midfielder, called Eden Hazard the most lazy footballer he has ever seen in his entire life.
One of Chelsea’s greatest players in history is thought to be the Belgian forward. The Belgian, who is now at Real Madrid, contributed to the Blues’ six major championships.
He moved from Stamford Bridge to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2019 for an initial fee of €100 million (£88.5 million), but his performance at the Spanish capital club could only be characterized as a failure.
The 32-year-old did not commit to training, according to Mikel, who shared a dressing room with the Belgian international while playing for the Blues.
Mikel also expressed his surprise at the former Lille star’s ability to perform well in games. He told Dubai Eye 103.8, “There is no room for you to say, ‘I don’t want to train today.”
Eden Hazard was the only player I watched who did it and got away with it.”He never went to training. I’ve never seen a football player that lazy.Yet, on weekends, he will win man of the match and enter the changing room with the award, saying, “Come on, boys, see.”
