The Third Mainland Bridge will undergo rehabilitation work on Sunday, April 2, according to the Lagos State Government, in order to fix problematic areas of the route.
Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, the state’s commissioner for transportation, stated this in a statement on April 1st.
The commissioner revealed plans for traffic diversion during the repair procedure, which would take place from 9 am to 4 pm.
Oladeinde indicated that at the bridge’s identified failing asphaltic parts, traffic will be switched from one lane to another.
He gave the residents of Lagos the assurance that the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) will manage traffic in order to lessen the inconveniences.
