After being slammed with a rape case, embattled Nollywood actor, Moses Armstrong, has been granted bail by a High Court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Moses Armstrong who was granted bail on Wednesday, August 10, was arrested on June 16 for allegedly r@ping a 16-year-old girl, was granted bail on Wednesday, August 10
The actor reportedly committed the crime with the girl about three years ago.
He was arrested after the alleged victim, who was said to have been schooling outside Nigeria, returned to the country recently and petitioned the wife of the state governor with respect to the rape allegation.
Some of his friends and colleagues who were in court with him, celebrated joyously after the court ruled in his favour.
The actor who was also suspended by the Actor Guild of Nigeria over the rape case, is yet to react to his bail.
