Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is facing a striker crisis ahead of the trip to Manchester United.
This follows a straight card for new boy, Darwin Nunez in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday
Other forwards in the Reds’ squad, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota are already missing through injury.
Nunez was sent off on his first Premier League start in the 57th minute, after he headbutted Palace defender Joachim Andersen.
His red card is likely going to see him miss Liverpool’s next three matches, starting with the crunch game at Old Trafford next Monday.
“It’s really tricky at the moment with injuries and players with little things and how you manage them and all those kinds of things,” Klopp said.
“We have to use the next week to maybe bring one or two back. I’m not sure if we can do that. But now we lost Darwin today. That doesn’t help. Bobby [Firmino] might be ready for next week.”
