EPL Week 3: Matches we’ll see shock results revealed

The English Premier League (EPL) week three begins on Saturday, with Tottenham Hotspur taking on Wolves in an early kick-off at home.

However, Drilogist takes a look at the matches that fans could see shock results in the Premier League this weekend:

1. Tottenham vs Wolves:

Tottenham Hotspur has so far won one and drew one out of their two matches so far this season against Southampton and Chelsea, while Wolves have lost one and drawn one against Leeds United and Fulham.

But Spurs struggled against Chelsea in their last game as they were outplayed for large parts of the game.

Antonio Conte’s side has a strong frontline comprising the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski, but Wolves will not make it easy for Tottenham due to their strong backline.

2. Leeds United vs Chelsea:

Leeds United will clash with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon at Elland Road.

The peacocks have won one and drawn one of their two games so far this term against Wolves and Southampton, while Chelsea has also won one and drew one against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

Goal scoring seems to be a bit of an issue for Chelsea at the moment as there are still a few questions marks over what is going on with Thomas Tuchel’s side up front.

But if that continues this weekend against Leeds United, who have scored four goals so far in their last two matches, then Jesse Marsch’s men could surprise the Blues.

3. Newcastle United vs Manchester City:

Newcastle United will host Manchester City on Sunday evening at St. James’ Park.

The Magpies have so far won one and drew one of their two Premier League games this season against Nottingham Forest and Brighton, while Manchester City has won their first two Premier League games against West Ham United and Bournemouth.

Eddie Howe’s men will look to make it hard for the Premier League champions with a plan to hit them on the counterattack.
