Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, has stated that one of the easiest ways to speed up Nigeria’s economic and political progress is through training public employees who will spearhead these changes.
Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede is a former managing director of Access Bank and chairman of the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation.
Speaking at the AIG Public Leaders Programme (PLP ) Abuja’s closing event, which was organized by the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation and the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. Aig-Imoukhuede stated that the Foundation’s collaboration with the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government enables it to guarantee that these aspiring public sector executives have access to the best economic and political education.

According to him, the program is an executive education program that gives highly qualified African public employees the chance to develop the skills necessary to establish cultures of quality, efficacy, and integrity in their organizations.
The 52 public workers of the 2022 PLP class, which included its first foreign student from South Africa, were carefully chosen from various government ministries, departments, and organizations.
Congratulating to the graduates Mr Imoukhuede encouraged them to apply what they had learned in the program to their various places of employment.
Professor Attahiru Jega, was also present at the event.
