Alaafin’s wife beautifully celebrates her daughter’s first birthday without a father

Queen Omobolanle, one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has penned an emotional birthday note to her daughter to mark her first birthday without a father.

The proud mother of two shared beautiful photos of her daughter, Princess Adeshola Adeyemi, on her Instagram page, accompanied by a lovely birthday message filled with prayers and heartwarming desires of a mother.

Queen Omobolanle wished her daughter more wisdom, knowledge and understanding, praying that joy and success will not depart from her life.

She wrote: Happy birthday to my beautiful Princess (Dr.) Adeshola Adeyemi 👑 Allah Ramat Sekinah on you.

Palace of the late Alaafin of Oyo revealed the current state of the king’s wives four months and ten days after his death.

A post shared on the official page of the Alaafin of Oyo captured the late king’s wives during the 51st coronation anniversary of the monarch. The photos were accompanied by a mourning caption that revealed the state of the king’s wives.

According to the post, the wives of the late Alaafin are still mourning the king, and the act is in line with the Yoruba culture and traditions of the Oyo Empire.

“Gbogbo wa la ma ditan. It’s. 4months, 10days of mourning for Ayabas in line with Yoruba Culture and Tradition of the old Oyo Empire after the departure of the Alaafin.

This picture was taken at the 51st Coronation anniversary of Alaafin Oba Adeyemi III. May our dear father continue to rest in peace”.
