APC remains mute on national assembly seats as Shettima and Gbajabiamila meet lawmakers-elect

Vice-President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, convened a meeting on Monday attended by All Progressives Party, APC National Assembly members-elect.

State House media were briefed by House of Representatives Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and Ali Ndume (APC Borno-South).

The APC instructed the new legislators to keep zoning and 10th Assembly leadership concerns to a minimum.

Gbajabiamila revealed that they were pushed to concentrate on the March 18 gubernatorial election.

He stated that the meeting was to celebrate the party’s win in the presidential election on February 25.

“We did discuss about zoning; it’s neither here nor there yet,” stated the Surulere federal constituency representative.

“We have another election this weekend and we want to make sure that everybody goes back home, roll up their sleeves.”
