‘APC should stop campaigning and start begging Nigerians for forgiveness for the hardship’ – Debo Macaroni

Popular comedian and skit-maker, Adebowale Adedayo better known as Mr Macaroni, has said the All Progressives Congress should not be campaigning for votes ahead of the forthcoming elections but instead should be begging Nigerians for forgiveness for the hardship caused in recent times.

The skit-maker, who took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to express his displeasure as regards the lingering fuel scarcity in the country and other challenges on Friday, described as “wicked” the suffering of Nigerians.

He wrote, “Instead of Campaigning, APC should be begging and asking for forgiveness from Nigerians every morning, afternoon and night for the hardship and suffering that has come with this fuel scarcity alone. This is wickedness!!!”

Mr Macaroni had earlier publicly declared his support for the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr Peter Gregory Obi in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

Mr Macaroni who is also a human rights activist and has been a vocal figure in the coming election took to his Twitter page to reveal with his full chest that he can’t force any Nigerian to vote for a particular candidate, however, he will cast his vote for Peter Obi and nothing will change it.

He wrote: “I do not and will not campaign for Politicians. I cannot force or beg any Nigerian to vote for a particular candidate but come 2023, the person that I will cast my vote for is Peter Obi!! And that is final on this matter!! Enough is Enough!!!”.
