Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, has filed a separate complaint against President Bola Tinubu in the United States, No. 23-5099 (N. D. III.) at the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Phrank Shaibu, Atiku’s Special Assistant on Public Communications, stated that the new litigation impacted the former vice president’s decision to abandon an earlier case before an Illinois circuit court.
Shaibu stated this in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja.
He said: “Waziri Atiku Abubakar only withdrew the case before a Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois County, United States of America because he is pursuing the same matter in a higher court and he wanted to avoid abuse of court processes. So, this is just the beginning.”
Shaibu found it hilarious that Tinubu and his fans celebrated the event as if it were a Supreme Court decision.
He emphasized that Tinubu’s academic records from primary school through university were doubtful, which explains why the president was unable to identify a single former classmate.
“In the last week, Nigerians have been watching the ongoing ministerial screening at the Senate, where nominees have been asked to reveal their primary, secondary, and university education history,” he writes.
“Some of the ministerial nominees were even classmates of the senators who were interviewing them.” The individual who nominated them, on the other hand, had no educational background. He has no peers from primary school, secondary school, or university. This is due to the fact that he has no classmates. He truly dropped from the skies.”
