Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has been proclaimed the victor of the presidential election in Kebbi State.
Professor Yusuf Sa’idu, the election’s returning officer, stated that the PDP candidate received 288,175 votes, defeating Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who received 248,088 votes.
He stated that the Labour Party’s candidate, Peter Obi, received 10,682 votes, while the NNPP’s Musa Kwankwaso received 5,038 votes.
He stated that the overall number of registered voters in the state is 1,983,985, with 599,201 being authorized voters.
