The appointment of Dr. Isa Abdulmumin as the Acting Director of Corporate Communications Department was made public by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) last week.He succeeds Mr. Osita Nwanisobi, the top bank’s retired executive.
Dr. Abdulmumin previously served as the Corporate Communications Department’s Deputy Director.The apex bank states that Dr. Abdulmumin has worked for the CBN with dedication for a number of years and is regarded as a hard worker, go-getter, effective professional, and media personality.
He has extensive experience in business reporting and strategic marketing communication, in addition to having completed numerous high-level local and international training programs.
The appointment of Dr. Abdulmumin comes at a time when the bank is spearheading multiple initiatives, including the new naira notes, the eNaira, as well as the different intervention plans, in an effort to guarantee that businesses in all sectors of the economy receive support.
