Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has provided the latest injury update on midfielder N’Golo Kante ahead of his side’s Premier League tie with Leicester City.
Tuchel said that Kante would take over four weeks to recover from his injury.
Kante had suffered a hamstring injury in his side’s Premier League 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur a few weeks ago.
The France international started the match at Stamford Bridge, putting on a magnificent performance in what was a heated clash before getting into a tangle with Yves Bissouma seven minutes from time.
Providing the latest update on Kante, Tuchel said at his pre-match press conference on Friday: “We are talking about four weeks plus. I told you at the end of last season he is our key player normally.
“He gives something to our team that no other player in the world can give to any other team. That makes him a key player. If your key player is out, it’s a situation you don’t like but have to deal with. It has a huge influence.
