Manchester City were held to a 4-4 draw by Chelsea after Cole Palmer scored a 95th-minute penalty to salvage a point for his team.
Despite the draw, Manchester City remains one point ahead of Liverpool and Arsenal at the top of the table. The game saw several lead changes, starting with an Erling Haaland penalty, followed by Chelsea’s equalizers from Thiago Silva.
Man City went ahead again with a Manuel Akanji goal, but Chelsea responded quickly with a goal from Nicolas Jackson.
At 4-3, it seemed City had sealed the win with a Rodri deflected effort, but Chelsea earned a penalty in added time which Palmer converted to secure the 4-4 draw.
This point brings Chelsea back into the top half of the table, although they are still 10 points off the top four under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
