Dancing ‘Skelewu’ with jesters at the INEC headquarters would not bring you victory, the APC campaign warns Atiku.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticised Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar for spearheading a rally on Monday.

According to DRILLOGIST, Atiku led a protest at the national offices of the INEC on Monday in Abuja.

In response, the APC recommended Atiku to hire attorneys to argue his case in court rather than stage a public demonstration in Abuja.

According to Bayo Onanuga, Director Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), when Atiku promised the world last Thursday that he would seek redress in court over the outcome of the 25 February Presidential election, the governing party had no idea that he did not intend to do so.

He claimed that the governing party did not believe Atiku was so unemployed that he would have time to disrupt public order over an election result that he had previously stated he would contest in court.

Onanuga noted that, given Atiku’s political history, it was not surprise that, days later, he brought a gang of demonstrators, “nay jesters,” to the headquarters of the Independent National Election Commission in Abuja (INEC).

He stated that the protest organized by the leaders of the ‘fragmented’ PDP and its presidential candidate would not offer the main opposition party with a window of victory.

Onanuga emphasized that instead of intelligently using their time gathering the so-called proof they plan to put before the courts, Atiku and his party are occupied

dancing ‘skelewu’ on the streets and causing traffic nuisance to residents of Abuja.

Onanuga wondered how a protest by a scanty crowd will provide any victory window for Atiku and the PDP.

According to him, the only recourse open to Atiku after the electoral umpire declared Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the President-elect, is the Election Petition Tribunal.

“Atiku and his motley crowd was a new low from the perennial election loser,” he added.
