In Makurdi, the capital of Benue, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has detained 17 alleged internet fraudsters.6
The EFCC’s head of media, Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement on Sunday that they were apprehended as a result of useful intelligence.

Emmanuel Victor, Joseph Adoyr Ameh, Olamide Timothy, Augestine Adalache, Izuka Justin, Boniface Dudoo, Udechukwu Benedict, and Emmanuel Igbo are the suspected fraudsters.
Others include Yina Terseem, Wilson Egwoba, Isaac Ukange, Precious Tseaa, Agbo Lawrence, Favour Nwokdi, Christian Nwgia, George Maaki, and Wilson Egwoba.
Mobile phones, ATM cards, computers, Lexus RX330 and Toyota Camry vehicles are among the items collected by EFCC agents.
The accused had provided helpful statements, and Uwujaren revealed that they will soon face charges in court.
