Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand wants manager Erik ten Hag to play forwards, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo, in his team’s attack.
Ferdinand believes Rashford could form a great partnership with Ronaldo for Man United, adding that it would be magnificent.
Rashford has established himself as a regular under Ten Hag this season.
The England international has made 12 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils so far ahead of their Premier League tie with Chelsea this weekend.
“I think Rashford will be great with Cristiano Ronaldo, they will be an unbelievable pair. I think if you could play two up there or if you play them off one of the sides, Rashford joining Cristiano and being an outside-to-inside wide player, running in behind, coming centrally from wide areas, I think he would be magnificent at that as well,” Ferdinand said on his FIVE YouTube channel.
