Manchester United forward, Jadon Sacho, will not be part of their warm-weather training camp in Spain ahead of the resumption of the Premier League.
Erik ten Hag’s side will take on Cadiz and Real Betis next week in preparation for the second half of the domestic campaign.
But Sancho will not feature in either fixture, as he will be training away from the first-team squad.
Last month, Sancho trained with Dutch amateur side OJC Rosmalen, based on specific recommendations on coaches to work with by Ten Hag.
The 22-year-old missed the Red Devils’ last four matches before the 2022 World Cup break due to illness.
But Sancho was expected to be part of the squad which travelled to Spain.
However, a statement from United on Sunday read: “Jadon Sancho is continuing his individual training programme as part of a process to get back to his highest level. The club is fully supporting him in this.”
