Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has shared his opinion on Erling Haaland’s performance for the club.
There have been questions over team-mate Haaland, with some suggesting that Pep Guardiola’s side play better without the striker.
This is despite the fact that the Norwegian has scored 25 goals across 20 games in the Premier League this term.
Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher recently suggested that Haaland chose the wrong club to play for and is not giving all he has due to Pep Guardiola’s style of play.
The 22-year-old fired blank as Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester City 1-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Walker spoke with reporters after the game and when asked about the claim that Haaland is not helping the team, the England defender did not deny it but said, “It’s a process – he’s come to Manchester City and it’s a difficult team to fit into as the manager demands so much and the way we play.”
Walker added. “It’s unique.”
