Former England cricket player, Kevin Pietersen, has defended Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo for his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
Pietersen said he sympathizes with Ronaldo, adding that people have no idea what the 37-year-old has gone through.
Ronaldo spoke of his dissatisfaction during the interview, claiming he feels ‘betrayed’ by Man United.
The 37-year-old also added that he has no respect for Man United manager Erik ten Hag.
Speaking on the development, Pietersen posted on his Twitter page on Tuesday: “I have watched this (Cristiano Ronaldo) story and having been in a similar position, I sympathize with him. People have NO IDEA what it is like to have constant lies and speculation written about them all the time.”
