Genk are eager to re-sign Onuachu from Southampton

Paul Onuachu, a forward from Nigeria, is being courted by Genk for a possible return to his former club.

According to rumors in Belgium, Onuachu moved from Genk to Southampton in January, but after just a few short months in England, the Smurfs are interested in bringing the striker back home.

Following Southampton’s relegation from the Premier League, the 29-year-old is also eager to transfer.

In his 11 league games for Southampton, the forward went scoreless.

In 114 league games over three and a half seasons, Onuachu made 79 goals for Genk.

Borussia Monchengladbach, a Bundesliga team, and Trabzonspor, a Turkish superpower, have also been mentioned as potential destinations for him.
