Haaland has amazing winning mentality – Piers Morgan

Seasoned British journalist, Piers Morgan, has revealed that the most-terrifying thing about Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is that the Norwegian is actually ‘pissed off’.

While praising Haaland’s mentality after his outstanding performance against RB Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16 second-leg match at the Etihad, Morgan made this statement.

Haaland scored five goals to Man City’s rout of RB Leipzig in the Champions League, advancing them to the quarterfinal round.Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan, two of his teammates, also scored.

The most alarming thing about Erling Haaland, according to Morgan, is that he’s truly upset that he didn’t score more than five goals last night and is quite critical of himself for missing other opportunities. #Just amazing winner’s mentality.”

Haaland, who transferred from Borussia Dortmund to Pep Guardiola’s team last summer, scored 28 goals in 26 Premier League games for Man City this year.

The legendary Sergio Aguero of Manchester City has suggested that manager Pep Guardiola should have kept attacker Erling Haaland on the field during his team’s 7-0 victory over RB Leipzig in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday.

Haaland scored five goals in 63 minutes during the Champions League match at the Etihad against RB Leipzig before being replaced by Guardiola late in the game.

With more than two months left in the season, the Norwegian international has already surpassed the mark for the most goals scored by a Manchester City player.

Aguero praised the former Dortmund player while speaking on Twitch, stating: “This crazy guy [Haaland] has scored five goals. What a wild kid this is.

“He was replaced by Pep [Guardiola] in the 63rd minute. We don’t know, but this kid might have scored six or seven goals, therefore I would have left him on the pitch.”
