Belgium captain, Eden Hazard, has named Argentina legend Juan Roman Riquelme as the best number 10 he has seen play the game.
Hazard said that Riquelme, who is considered one of the greatest Argentine footballers of all time, is his idol in football, hoping that he could meet him someday.
The Real Madrid star was speaking following Belgium’s FIFA World Cup 1-0 win over Canada on Wednesday night.
Recall that Belgium defeated Canada in their FIFA World Cup opener, thanks to Michy Batshuayi’s first-half goal.
“He’s an idol, the best number 10 I have ever seen play.
“I have not met him and I hope one day it can happen. Players like Riquelme can play in today’s football,” Hazard, a former Chelsea ace, told Diario Ole
