Emekeme Joseph, a well-known hotelier also known by his stage name Semikolo, tragically passes away after being brutally murdered by his sons in Delta State.
Reports state that Joseph became unwell after his two sons beat him up for reportedly having a relationship with another woman.
The sons were subsequently captured by the police, and the father was taken to the hospital in a hurry. He was taken to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, where he fought for his life as his condition progressively worsened.
In an unexpected change of events, the woman hurriedly returned to the nation and was successful in getting her sons released from police custody. She took her unconscious husband from UBTH against medical advice and brought him back to their Ugbeyiyi home, where he sadly died.
Unsettlingly, Joseph’s wife falsely claimed they were in Lagos when his pals contacted her.
After the incident, Joseph’s wife changed her name on all of her social media profiles, returning to her maiden name and leaving out the last name.
