Imo Judge is killed by gunmen during a court hearing.

Nnaemeka Ugboma, the chairman of the Ejemekwuru Customary Court in Imo State’s Oguta Local Government Area, was shot and killed by assailants on Thursday.

He was reportedly shot and killed while presiding over a court hearing by gunmen on motorcycles.

The event caused the court proceedings to terminate quickly as staff left the location.

As at the time this story was filed, neither the Imo state police command nor the Nigerian Bar Association has responded to the occurrence.
