For the sake of proper marketing, women in Kaduna State have been challenged with embracing digital literacy in the 21st century.
At a digital workshop for 20 women who run small companies in Kaduna to commemorate International Women’s Day, Grace Yohanna, chairman of Women, Peace and Security of Equal Access International, Nigeria, Chikun Local Government, made the call.Yet, she bemoaned the fact that women had fallen behind in the digital sphere and urged them to go beyond the 18th century in order to compete favorably.

She also stated that,”Women have an important part to play in the digital age, and when you look at people that are truly running their businesses, they need to update and be able to be on level with their mates,”

“Women need to be uplifted. They need to have a voice and they need to go beyond the 18th century to compete favourably.”
She mentioned that the ladies had been introduced to an app called Canva. They could use Canva to market their companies and make money using their smartphones.
“No matter how wonderful a product is, if it is not attractive, it cannot sell.” She claimed she learned how to use Canva to make her items more appealing to her clients.
