Award-winning singer, Kizz Daniel has tendered an apology to his DMV fans for standing them up at an event.
Reported on Friday, July 9th that Kizz Daniel had sparked outrage with his performance at DMV.
Kizz Daniel was embarrassed and humiliated after standing his fans up for hours.
The singer arrived late at the event and to worsen the situation, rather than for him to sing he had the DJ play his songs for 30 minutes.
He was booed on stage as papers and cups were thrown at him as the crowds screamed for a refund.
Taking to Twitter to drag the singer, many of them expressed displeasure at his behavior as others vowed never to listen to his song.
Tendering an apology, Kizz Daniel revealed that his passport was withheld at the US Consulate in Nigeria until the day of the show and previously booked flights had to be canceled.
“DMV, thank you for showing up last night, and sincere apologies for all that happened. For some reason, my passport was withheld at the US Consulate in Nigeria until the day of the show and previously booked flights had to be canceled. Same reason I rescheduled the New York show. Just for the love and respect, I have for you and my craft I got on the next available flight to New York the second I had my passport thinking I could still make it cuz I just don’t want to cancel another date. I booked an OJ to DMV from New York to make the journey faster, but unfortunately, it didn’t work”.
