Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez has equalled the record of 17 matches unbeaten away from home, which was set by Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid boss in 2016.
The Catalans equalled the record with a 4-0 crushing of Cadiz on Saturday.
The last time Barca defeated Cadiz was April 29, 2006, when they won 1-0 thanks to a Ronaldinho goal.
Before Saturday’s game, Cadiz was unbeaten against Barcelona in four meetings, winning two and drawing two
Robert Lewandowski continued his impressive form in front of goal as he scored one and provided two assists in the big win at Cadiz.
Frenkie de Jong, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele also got on the score sheet.
The win took Barcelona above champions Real Madrid – who face Mallorca on Sunday – to the top on 13 points on the LaLiga table.
