The Nasarawa State Police Command apprehended Hassan Ismail and Mohammed Sani for their alleged involvement in the tragic killing of their son, Mohammed Sani, based on accusations of witchcraft. Shettima Jauro Muhammed, the acting Commissioner of Police in the state, disclosed this information during a press briefing on Monday while showcasing the suspects.

Providing details on the disturbing incident, Muhammed stated, “Police operatives attached to A Division, Lafia, acted swiftly upon learning that Mohammed Sani of Agyaragu Tofa was restrained, left to starve, and subsequently buried by his family members on charges of witchcraft.” He went on to affirm that the investigation is ongoing, with efforts focused on apprehending all individuals implicated in this heinous act.
