After a fight over N1,000, a man by the name of Ibrahim Dauda is suspected of murdering his brother Tunde, age 27
.the terrible tragedy occurred at their home at Amusa Street, off Community Road, in the Obadore neighborhood of Igando, Lagos State, An dispute between Ibrahim and Tunde that cost them close to N1,000 is said to have started when they were both at home.Ibrahim raced outside to obtain an iron rod during the quarrel that broke out and used it to strike his brother in the forehead.The 27-year-old fell and was unconscious as a result of the attack’s effect.
According to an eyewitness, people rushed Tunde to the Igando General Hospital in an effort to save him, but the attending physicians pronounced him dead there.The eyewitness Reported that “The incident took place on January 29, 2023, a Sunday. They were fighting over N1,000 when one of the brothers (Ibrahim) whacked his brother (Tunde) in the forehead with an iron rod.
He was soon sent to the Igando main hospital, but there was no hope for him. His body was removed and transported for an autopsy at the Mainland General Hospital in Yaba.After being informed, Igando Division police officers arrested Ibrahim right away.
