Thugs stormed a polling unit in Gwagwalada, Abuja, earlier today to disrupt voting in the area.
A video shared online shows the thugs tearing down the canopy providing shade for the INEC officials. They also knocked down ballot boxes and scattered the ballot papers.
Voters are seen running for their safety as the attack unfolded.
A media personality who was filming the attack narrated how he was beaten by the thugs and his personal belongings collected.
