The Nigerian Guild of Editors will hold the inaugural Lateef Jakande Annual Memorial Lecture today in Lagos.
The lecture, titled “Lateef Jakande: The Man, His Journalism, His Politics,” will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Maryland, Ikeja, Lagos, and will be chaired by Ambassador Patrick Dele Cole, former Nigerian ambassador to Brazil.
The special guest of honor is Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the keynote speaker is Felix Adenaike, a fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors.
Mr. Eze Anaba, President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, will host the event.
