League Two side Crewe Alexandra have announced the signing of Nigerian eligible goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo who joined the side on loan from Premier League side Arsenal.
Even though Arthur Okonkwo has played for England at U16, U17 and U18 levels, the 20-year-old is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles because he has Nigerian parents despite born in UK. Arthur Okonkwo has been with Premier League side Arsenal since he was nine and has gone thorough football education at the North London side.
Arsenal are sending the goalkeeper out on loan so as for Arthur Okonkwo to get the needed experience and active playing time. According to the confirmation by the Premier League side, they wished Arthur Okonkwo the very best at the League Two side.
