Ondo; Amotekun Parades Sixty-Two Suspects For Various Crimes

The Ondo State Security Network Agency, commonly known as Amotekun, paraded 62 suspects allegedly engaged in diverse criminal activities across the state on Monday. According to Adetunji Adeleye, the Commander of Amotekun in the state, the apprehensions occurred in various locations across the 18 local government areas.

While showcasing the suspects at the corps headquarters in Akure, Adeleye attributed the operation’s success to the collaborative efforts of Amotekun and other security agencies in the state. He emphasized the crucial role played by combined synergy and intelligence sharing among the agencies in making these arrests.

Involved in crimes such as armed robbery, kidnapping, cultism, and drug trafficking, the suspects were targeted in the operation. Adeleye commended the residents of the state for their unwavering support and provision of credible information to Amotekun. He reassured the public of the agency’s dedication to maintaining law and order, particularly during the festive season when criminal activities tend to rise.
