Operatives of the Osun Amotekun Corps have detained two young men, Ayo Omotosho, 16, and Sarafadeen Ayo, 22, for allegedly terrorizing the citizens of Igbaye town in the Odo-Otin Local Government Area of the State.Additionally, two automobile batteries that belonged to a town resident were allegedly stolen, and the pair were caught in the act.They were detained on Monday after a complaint was filed, according to information provided by the security company on Tuesday.Omotosho and Sarafadeen were detained after collaborating to steal two car batteries in Igbaye town, according to the Corps Commander, Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi.The owner of the stolen batteries filed a report with the Amotekun Odo-Otin Command, which prompted the operatives to move quickly and apprehend the criminals.”After questioning and inquiry, the criminals admitted to stealing and selling the batteries from the complainant’s car.The offenders have been handed over to the police for questioning and possible prosecution, Adewinmbi concluded.
