Hussain Muhammad-Jallo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, was declared the winner of the Igabi Federal Constituency in Kaduna state on Monday.
INEC Returning Officer, Professor Umaru Musa, proclaimed Muhammad-Jallo the winner in Turunku, Igabi.
He received 46,189 votes, defeating All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Ibrahim Zayyad, who received 41,331.
Nevertheless, Shuaibu Abubakar of the NNPP received 5,394 votes, while Yahya Salisu of the Labour Party received 3,726 votes.
“Jallo Hussaini Muhammad of the PDP, having met the conditions of the law, is now pronounced victorious and returned elected,” Musa added.
