The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, was in Bayelsa for the Pentecostal Fellowship in Nigeria Conference right before their presidential campaign in Abuja, and prominent Nigerian pastors were also present. When Peter Obi was called to come and address the crowd, the presidential candidate first bowed down to greet the likes of Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo, Bishop Mike Okonkwo as well as other ministers by shaking their hands.
When it was time to speak, Peter Obi refused to go near the altar instead, staying afar. Checkout images below.
After picking up the microphone, Peter Obi went ahead to say, having listened to the two reverend fathers at the event, he didn’t have anything to say rather than preaching love, care for each other and prayers for Nigeria.
