Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the recently ended February 25 election, has landed in Anambra State to campaign for his party’s candidates in the State House of Assembly election.
Obi claimed in a message on his verified Twitter account on Thursday said he was in the state to congratulate Obidients and seek support for LP candidates.
The former Anambra State governor urged the people to put an authoritative stamp on the party’s huge mandate won during the presidential election.
“I landed in Anambra State this morning,” he wrote. This is another great opportunity to thank the Obidients, and ask them to go out en masse and support LP candidates. Let’s put a definitive and authoritative imprint on the vast mandate that the Labour Party gained on 25th February.”
According to DRILLOGIST, just the State House of Assembly election will be held in the state. Anambra is one of the states whose elections are held during the off-season.
