The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has described the Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, as a Nollywood actor, claiming that the February 25th presidential election is between the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Speaking further, the Kaduna State governor made it known that Peter Obi polling 1% in Sokoto, 2% in Katsina and 5% in Kano, reminding him that all the states in Nigeria are not equal. He went on and noted that the fact that Peter Obi is doing 70% n Anambra doesn’t mean that someone who is doing 10% in Kano State is not better than him.
Gov El-Rufai made this disclosure in a viral video recorded by TVC, which was posted by Festus Keyamo on his verified twitter handle.
El-Rufai said: “…He cannot go anywhere. Peter Obi is a Nollywood actor and that’s what he will be. Election is between the PDP and APC, because they have footprint and spread…..”
Furthermore, the Kaduna State Governor made it known that Peter Obi will do well in South East and South South, but fail in the south west region. He went further and claimed that Obi doesn’t have the number of states, therefore will not be able to win the forthcoming presidential election.
In addition, Governor Nasir El-Rufai stated it clearly that bigotry and ethnicity will not take the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi anywhere.
