Netizens have taken to social media to express mixed feelings about the Central Bank of Nigeria’s latest ruling about the abuse of Naira.
Earlier today, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) listed money bouquets as a form of Naira abuse. The bank shared a flier on its official Twitter page to buttress its message about the abuse of Naira in the country. Other forms of Naira abuse listed by the CBN includes; spraying, selling, squeezing, and defacing.
The bank’s caption read, “ It is your civic duty to protect the Naira. Report Naira abuse today.”
Netizens react to CBN’s list of money bouquet as Naira abuse
The use of money bouquets and money trains became a popular trend among Netizens in 2021. It is a luxurious mix of Naira and roses or Naira in a way that makes up for a cake.
Netizens have reacted with mixed feelings to CBN’s instruction to report anyone found wanting to be involved in what is tagged as an affectionate way to show love. While many see it as a welcomed development and frown at the method that has since become conventional, others pleaded with CBN to halt its rule because Valentine’s day celebration is around the corner.

Nigerians be wise. 100, 000 a week how many Nigerians earn that in a month, many earning that much all can do transfer. Lets suffer now rip the benefit later.
